People can be divided into 3 groups:
Those who MAKE things happen,
Those who WATCH things happen and
Those who WONDER what happened!
Where Do You Belong?
Although we have a work crew that prepares each field, each day games scheduled to be played, inclement weather forces us to tap into our volunteer network. Please keep in mind that we are a volunteer organization that cannot exist without the continued efforts of Parents, coaches, and volunteers.
If at any time during the season we receive rain on a Friday night, all coaches are required to arrive at the park at 7:00 AM on Saturday to prepare the fields for the day’s games. The assistance of parents and other volunteers is highly appreciated. Remember, our involvement benefits the children.
The Coca-Cola fundraiser, Coupon Book fundraiser, and our annual Green & Gold Baseball tournament, typically held in June during the all-star season, are also excellent opportunities to give back to the organization. All monies raised from our fundraisers
go towards park maintenance, capital improvements, and to assist in retiring the debt incurred during the light pole project of 2007.
