Softball
The softball program at EBYAA offers recreational softball play for ages 5 thru 12 and, if there is enough interest, a 13/14
division will be added. The softball divisions are as follows: 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, & if necessary, 13/14. The age group determination cut-off date is December 31st of the previous year. However old your child is on 12/31 of the previous year is the age group she must participate in.

Included with the registration fee. EBYAA provides a shirt and visor for softball. Parents/guardians are to provide socks, cleats, glove, helmet, bat, and if necessary, shin pads. These items are available for purchase at local
retailers.
The registration period will conclude at the end of
February at which time coaches will be selected and a draft will take
place in early March. Following the draft, teams will have the
opportunity to practice several times prior to the start of the season
in early April. Practices are left up to the discretion of the individual coaches. Some
coaches may choose practice a little more than others. We will attempt to create a schedule of approximately 18 to 20 games.
Games will be held every day of the week with the exception of Weds. & Sun. Weekday games will begin at 6 & 7:30 PM while Saturday games can begin as early as 9:00 AM. Teams will typically not play more than 2 games per week. Please forward any questions or comments to: info@ebyaa.com |
